Christmas Silver Home Tour
Christmas Silver Home Tour with this gorgeous home reminds me of the French Provincial style with its porch balustrades and symmetry. Being raised in Louisiana, French style home is familiar and always makes my heart patter with excitement for the next peek! The home belongs to one of my dearest friends and clients; I adore it, and you will too!
The double front entry doors are a new addition this year the homeowners had them changed from a single door with sidelights. What a statement new doors do for an entrance.
Those magnificent new doors lead into a curved staircase giving breath to the foyer of this home. One of my favorite spots of a home to dress at Christmas is the foyer.
If you have a staircase with wood balusters adding wrought iron balusters gives a modern and simple update to stairs, depending on the style of your home.
Garland, trees, presents whatever you have handy find a spot in the foyer to bring Christmas cheer. These elements give your guest a moment to take off their shoes and take in the opening statement for your home.
The foyer leads a guest into the dining room for an intimate set table. One of the things I always keep on hand for my dining room is an arrangement of linens and chargers.
An inexpensive charger takes simple dinner plates to another level whether you own beautiful china or just your everyday plates April used pinecones as napkin rings wrapped with raffia adds just the right touch of whimsy.
This home is laid out on a large lot overlooking the 9th green of a pristine golf course and has French doors leading out on either side of the tree again following the symmetry lines of the front scape.
A open floor plan makes the great room indeed the center of the home. With a 20 foot fireplace consisting of stacked stone. The drapes were custom made this last year after the fireplace renovation.
Adding simple elements to your home at Christmas is easy with pinecones and greenery. The breakfast table just off the kitchen has a cut piece of pine garland for added detail.
Now, this would be my favorite spot for a great book and a hot cocoa. The sunroom is quaint and cozy.
Hope you have enjoyed the Christmas Silver Home Tour of this gracious home and are inspired to finish your Christmas wrapping! I know you are just like me and not done! I’ll be up to the wee hours making beautiful bows and wishing I had elves! Merry Christmas! Praying your home is blessed with love and happiness this Christmas.
